Front Desk: Monday-Friday 10am-4pm; assist signing individuals in and out and direct them where they need to go by connecting them to the right person.(Shifts can be a minimum of 2 hours to however many you are willing to help!)
Food Pantry: (Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday 12:00pm-4:00pm; assistance picking up food from partners, sorting through donated food and organizing into the pantry) (Panera Bread pickup every 1st and 3rd Monday at 8:45 pm and Tuesday morning organizing donations)
Provide a Meal: As-needed basis/flexible hours. Assist with preparing fresh produce items for our members to use and/or cooking the items for our GED classes lunch.
Tutoring: Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science: (Monday-Thursday; 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm) (Wednesday-Thursday Night 5-8pm)
WAYS Coaches:
- Career & Job Coaching: (2-5 hours 1x/week; available during business hours to help youth with career/skill assessment, applying to college, trade/certification programs and financial aid, resume building, creating plans to grow out of entry level positions, helping youth understand skills and responsibilities needed to work a full-time job, and provide resources for youth to make connections with community agencies and employers.)
- Employer Scout: Geographical analysis and relationship building with employers within a 1.5 mile radius of our members' housing.
- Career Source Expert: Coordinating with Career Resources to help connect our members to jobs.
One-on-One Mentoring: (minimum 1 hour/week and 1 in-person visit/month for minimum of 1 year (preferred) ***if you are specifically interested in mentoring, please complete the separate Mentor Application on our website so we can begin your matching process***
Administrative & General Support: Assistance needed tracking/charting volunteers, mentors, donations, activities, and food services. This volunteer opportunity can be done any day of the week, at any time, on sight or at home. Up to 10 hours of assistance is needed per week in this category; any amount of time offered is greatly appreciated.
Special Events: (typically 2-4 hours helping at various youth events and fundraisers, days and times will vary)

Public Transportation Coach: Assist members one on one with learning how to navigate the public transportation system, and walking them through routes in person.
LiftUp Life Skills Program Volunteer/Teacher: 5:30-7:30 pm every Thursday. Join a team to teach life skills to our youth, assist our members with engagement in class, assist with setup/breakdown, or sponsor/provide a meal using 'Take Them A Meal Program'.
